Neurodiversity and the broken foot

Says my doctor to me that I should see my body as a car.  And that the more I drive, the more it will wear. And that I need to service it well.  So I asked if he was familiar with the concept that if 1 person drives the same car continuously it will wear less than if different people drive it.  Even over short distances.  He wasn't impressed with my comment.

Opened up my cast today in so far that my appointment is for next monday and the heel on it is broken anyway..
Maybe that's why the plaster is poking my foot in places.  I intend to rub it daily between now and then with comfrey ointment.  Sod the ‘pyrrolizidine alkaloids' .  General internet consensus puts the emphasis on' short term use'  so no more than 4-6 weeks might well do more good than harm in this case.

I got an ASS diagnosis but nothing's sure.
Except for the source(s) of my distrust towards the medical establishment.  And the enormous pathological need for autonomy of my body.  I mean, it's my body innit and my solution till monday might not be as high tech as the doctor would like to see but it's the one that will cause the least harm to my psyche and by letting me take care to a great degree of this machine they call my body by listening to it myself is part of the reason I am sitting here typing this waffle!  And growing old gracefully don't seem to be my style...

Here's some piccies

Autumn

Actually, not sure when I took the picture.  There's a cornfield in the background so most likely autumn.  I have developed a fascination with that feeding through.  It would look lovely filled with plants and a lick of decent paint.
Not sure what else to go on about so will leave it at that.
